The Multi-Edit Package Wizard allows you to easily edit the settings of some or all packages.
In Planner, go to Packages > Manage Packages.
Select packages you want to edit by clicking on the individual checkboxes next to each package. To edit all packages, click the Select All checkbox.
Click the Multi-Edit button.
Review all the features listed. If you would like to set a feature for all packages, check the box and make your choice.
When finished, click Confirm to apply changes to all selected packages.
Tip! Multi-Edit by Category is also very useful. To use, go to Packages > Manage Packages and click the Categories hyperlink found under the Delete, Multi-Edit and Add buttons. Select the categories you want to edit by checking the checkbox next to each. Then, click the Multi-Edit button. Next, you'll be able to specify the same Multi-Edit settings. Once you confirm, settings will only be applied to packages assigned to your selected categories.
|Priceless||Enable Set Priceless if the packages' fair-market values are hard to approximate or if you'd prefer not to display it on mobile bidding devices or tent cards. Uncheck the corresponding Priceless box to disable.|
|Enable in Fundraiser||Check this box to allow bidding, purchasing, or donating on the packages in the Giving Center, pre-event or post-event. Leave the corresponding Enable Online Bidding box unchecked to prevent activity in Giving Center.|
|Apply Sales Tax||Check this box if sales tax should be charged for these packages. Leave the corresponding Apply Sales Tax box unchecked to disable and not charge sales tax. Additional information about Sales Tax.|
|Show in Printed Catalog||Check this box to include packages in the printed auction catalog reports. Leave the corresponding Show in Printed Catalog box unchecked to prevent packages from displaying in the catalogs.|
|Show in Giving Center||Check this box to display the packages in the Giving Center, pre-event or post-event. Leave the corresponding Show in Giving Center box unchecked to remove packages from the Giving Center.|
|Featured in Giving Center||Check this box to include packages in the rotating Featured Items panel on the Giving Center's home screen. Leave the corresponding Featured in Giving Center box unchecked to hide packages from that panel.|
|Show on Scoreboard||Check this box to display packages on scoreboard slides and leave the corresponding Show on Scoreboard box unchecked to remove them from scoreboards. NOTE: This applies to all applicable scoreboard slide options.|
|Apply Package Defaults||Check this box if you'd like the starting bid, minimum raise, and buy now price to be automatically calculated based on a percentage of the value, as specified in Packages > Set Package Defaults. Leave the corresponding "Apply Package Defaults" box unchecked if you wish to manually set packages' bid data. NOTE: Applies to Silent Auction packages only. You cannot set starting bid, minimum raise, or buy now if applying package defaults.|
|Starting Bid||Check this box and enter the percentage of package value that you'd like to set the starting bids to, typically 40-50%. Select what increment you'd like to round to ($5, $10, $20, $50). NOTE: Applies to Silent Auction packages only.|
|Minimum Raise||Check this box and enter the percentage of package value that you'd like to set the minimum raises to, typically 10-15%. Select what increment you'd like to round to ($1, $2, $5, $10). NOTE: Applies to Silent Auction packages only.|
|Buy Now||Check this box and choose Enable if you'd like packages to be available for outright purchase. Enter the percentage of package value that you'd like to set the buy now prices to, typically 150-200%. Select what increment you'd like to round to ($5, $10, $20, $50). Leave the corresponding Enable Buy Now box unchecked if you'd like to turn off the ability to outright purchase packages. NOTE: Applies to Silent Auction packages only.|
|Package Category||Check this box and choose the category name from the drop-down if you'd like to assign all selected packages to a new category. NOTE: Applies to Silent Auction packages only.|
|Set User-Defined 1||Check this box and enter the information you'd like to store in the User-Defined 1 field. This is typically used for custom reports or scoreboards.|
|Set User-Defined 2||Check this box and enter the information you'd like to store in the User-Defined 2 field. This is typically for custom reports or scoreboards.|
|Override Auction Times||Check the box next to Disable Existing Override Times to make all packages end together with their auction type. Or, set the Package End Date for when the packages will no longer be available for bidding, purchase, or open for donations. NOTE: Override Auction Times may be used if the auction has staggered end times or if packages end online in the Giving Center. In Planner, go to Packages > Manage Packages.|
